手ぬぐい「見得」 原画：高橋宏光
「見得」は、静止することで体を彫刻のように美しく見せる、歌舞伎独特の演技法。決まった瞬間、役者は目を寄せてにらみ、「ツケ」の音が入ります。
江戸の荒事から生まれたといわれ、「元禄見得」「石投げの見得」「柱巻きの見得」「横見得」「天地の見得」「不動の見得」など、さまざまな型があります。合羽摺り版画の第一人者、高橋宏光の原画による手ぬぐいです。

Mie are poses unique to Kabuki to express emotions or show the importance of the scene. There are various types of Mie poses. Drawn by Hiromitsu Takahashi, who is well known worldwide for his kappazuri stencil print.
Kabuki is one of the traditional Japanese performing arts with 400 years of history. It is an all-round theatrical art consisting of drama, dance and music.
