手ぬぐい扇子「有松絞り43番」
日本の伝統工芸品に指定されている有松絞りの手ぬぐいを、扇面に仕立てた扇子です。
有松絞りは、布を括る、折る、染めるといった手仕事によって、独特のにじみや濃淡を生み出す絞り染めの技法です。
青、紫、オレンジのやわらかな六弁花が扇面に広がる絵柄は、明るく華やかな色彩が印象的です。染料のにじみや重なりによって生まれる色の奥行きは、一点ごとに異なり、手仕事ならではの豊かな表情を感じさせます。
ふんわりと広がる貝殻型のフォルムは、雪花絞りの花のような文様とよく合い、絞り染めのやわらかな風合いを引き立てます。伝統工芸の美しさを日常に取り入れられる、上品で華やかな手ぬぐい扇子です。

Tenugui Folding Fan :Arimatsu Shibori No.43
This fan is made using a tenugui crafted in Arimatsu Shibori, a traditional Japanese craft officially designated as a Traditional Craft of Japan, for the fan surface.
Arimatsu Shibori is a tie-dyeing technique that creates distinctive gradations and soft blurring effects through handwork such as binding, folding, and dyeing the cloth.
This design features soft six-petaled floral forms in blue, purple, and orange spreading across the fan surface, creating a bright and elegant impression. The depth of color produced by the bleeding and layering of dye varies from piece to piece, revealing the rich character that only handwork can achieve.
The softly spreading shell-shaped form pairs beautifully with the flower-like motifs of yukibana shibori, enhancing the gentle texture and softness of the shibori dyeing. This is an elegant and graceful tenugui fan that allows the beauty of traditional craftsmanship to be enjoyed in everyday life.
