手ぬぐい扇子「隈取市松（緑）」
麻の葉オリジナルの手ぬぐい「隈取市松」を扇面に仕立てた扇子です。
歌舞伎の象徴である隈取と、日本の伝統文様である市松模様を組み合わせた、粋な趣のある絵柄です。隈取とは、顔の血管や筋肉を誇張し、役柄の性格や感情を表す歌舞伎独特の化粧法。市松模様の中に配された隈取や歌舞伎の小道具の絵柄で、扇面の中に歌舞伎の世界を演出します。
市松模様は、途切れることなく続くことから「繁栄」の意味が込められた縁起の良い文様です。
ふんわりと広がる貝殻型のフォルムは、歌舞伎柄の粋な意匠を引き立てます。力強さと上品さ、遊び心をあわせ持ち、和装にも日常の装いにも自然になじむ手ぬぐい扇子です。

Tenugui Folding Fan :Kumadori Ichimatsu Pattern (Green)
This fan is made using Asanoha’s original tenugui design, “Kumadori Ichimatsu,” for the fan surface.
The design combines kumadori, one of the most iconic elements of Kabuki, with the traditional Japanese ichimatsu check pattern, creating a refined and stylish impression. Kumadori is a distinctive form of Kabuki makeup that emphasizes the veins and muscles of the face to express a character’s nature and emotions. Within the ichimatsu pattern, kumadori motifs and Kabuki props appear rhythmically, evoking the world of Kabuki across the fan surface.
The ichimatsu pattern is considered auspicious, as its continuous arrangement symbolizes prosperity. The softly spreading shell-shaped form of the fan enhances the elegance of the Kabuki-inspired design.
