Hinamatsuri is a Japanese celebration held on March 3rd to wish for the healthy growth of girls, and has its roots in the Heian period (794-1185), which has been passed down in different forms to the present day. By displaying Ohinasama dolls, it is hoped that the evil spirits will be purged and the girls will grow up healthy and happy.
Please enjoy the Japanese custom that has continued since the Heian period in your modern life by displaying tenugui.
