手ぬぐい「惣稽古」 原画：雁千穂
歌舞伎の興行に先立ち、本番通りの通し稽古をしている様子を、熟練の職人が注染てぬぐいに染め上げました。グラフィックデザイナー・雁千穂による原画作品シリーズです。
現在でも初日の前には、役者たちが全員揃って、浴衣姿で稽古合わせを行っています。本番前の緊張感と賑やかな稽古、歌舞伎役者の表情が細かく描かれ、眺めているだけで歌舞伎や演劇の魅力が感じられます。
華やかな歌舞伎手拭いは、お正月飾りやお年賀、誕生日プでレゼントや出産祝い・初節句祝いなどおめでたい時節のプレゼントにおすすめ。また、日本の伝統工芸品「手拭」は外国の方へのギフトやおみやげにも喜ばれます。

Tenugui “Kabuki Reheasal”
This tenugui depicts a scene in the middle of a Kabuki performance rehearsal. Even now, before the first day of the performance, all the actors are dressed in yukata for the rehearsal. You can feel the tension before the show and the lively rehearsals. Each of the actors is depicted in detail, and you can enjoy the charm of the theater just by looking at the picture.
